Brigid Ward is Class of 2021 at Williamstown High School where she carries a GPA of 3.7 and is enrolled in multiple Honors-Level courses. She has earned Honor Roll during many marking periods during both freshman and sophomore years and strives to become a member of the National Honor Society. Brigid was selected Sophomore Class “Student of the Month” for February 2019.
As a freshman, Brigid started every varsity game at short or second and led the team in stolen bases, was second in RBIs and runs-scored and third in number of hits. Brigid continued to be the starting shortstop throughout sophomore year. She has been playing softball for 10 years including 5 years of travel ball. Brigid was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the Youth Softball Nationals in Myrtle Beach in 2018. For Williamstown H.S., she also plays volleyball, basketball, and has run indoor track. Brigid ran her team’s anchor-leg in the 4x100 at the 2017 Penn Relays in Philadelphia. She was timed at 2.78 seconds for the 20 yard dash at the 2018 Pennsbury (PA) Classic Camp.
Brigid is a member of the Williamstown High School Varsity Club. She is a member of The ROCK, a Christian ministry service organization and has participated in a local-road litter patrol community service project.
